The development of a wind farm in the townships of Pontru, Pontruet and Villeret in the Aisne region led to an archaeological excavation operation in 2011, targeting two platforms. The first contained the remains of a rural section of Roman road belonging to the Agrippa network, while the second yielded a set of excavated structures constituting a small occupation site from the 2nd-3rd centuries AD. This publication offers a reinterpretation of the results obtained at the time, in the light of reference works published since.
