Via arrowheads or spearheads and accepting that with their strong cultural character they are identity markers in Prehistory, the various recent and final mesolithic groups are presented, covering north-eastern France and neighbouring areas. Possible links are examined between advanced mesolithic heads and Rubané heads, originating particularly from Cuiry-les-Chaudardes and Trosly-Breuil. Subsidiary aspects are examined in relation with other sites in Lorraine, Alsace and north Jura.
