The megalithic gallery grave of La Chaussée-Tirancourt (France, Somme) yielded three vases in stratigraphy. One of them is of Seine-Oise-Marne style. The oldest one has no homologue in France but perhaps some distant relations in Germany. The most recent one could be « Gord » or Bronze age. The author wonders about the validity of calling in a saime way - Seine-Oise-Marne - an horizon of settlements and a collection of burials whose ages are poorly known. He wishes that either one be distinguished in the nomenclature.
