The Michelsberg pottery assemblage found in the context of the Neolithic flint mines at Spiennes has not yet been the subject of a global study. This paper aims to do so by means of combining the data on the pottery assemblage with the recently obtained radiocarbon dates. This allows us to situate the Michelsberg pottery in the context of the flint mining activities and to discuss the relationship between the flint miners and the builders of the nearby enclosure.
