The results of seven years of aerial survey are reported concerning Brie, an agricultural region threatened by the urban development of Paris eastwards (Eurodisneyland, TGV, interconnections, new towns, sand pits, etc). Aerial research is hindered by the presence of two international airports, Roissy-Charles de Gaulle and Orly ; however, satisfactory results are being obtained and all periods represented from Neolithic to modern, even if relatively few gallo-roman sites have been detected.
