The excavations due to the establishment of a real estate in Street Lamartine in Amiens revealed a major density of settlements in this area of the ancient city. Before the building of a little domus dating back to about the 80’s A.D., a layer of filling material - probably resulting from the cleaning of yards - was set up to level the ground. This level corresponds to layer 625. Its stratigraphic position, its large homogeneity and its volume make it a whole of reference for the chronology in Amiens spanning the years 70-80 / 90 of our area, corresponding to the reigns of the Flavian dynasty from Vespasian to Domitian.
